The Laboratory of Behavioral Sciences supports research of faculty members and graduate students in the Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Management at the Technion.
The Laboratory hosts research conducted with human participants in domains such as cognition, metacognition, decision making, organizational behavior and behavioral marketing.
Students can sign up to participate in studies in return for credit points or cash payment. If you wish to participate in one of our studies or have any other inquiries, please send us an email.

The lab has two rooms, one for conducting studies and one for administrative and student use.
The studies room is equipped with eight desktop computers, separated by barriers, allowing privacy for participants.
The administrative room is equipped with 3 desktop computers.
The computers are connected via a local network which has shared server.
Scanning and printing services are available to users.
Headphones are available per request.
Our researchers are looking for participants willing to take part in cognitive, organizational and marketing studies. Our studies rely on the participants in exchange for course credit or cash payment. The tasks typically involve paper and pencil tasks, computerized tasks or group tasks, depending on the study. Studies are conducted by researchers across a variety of research domains, and therefore are diverse and interesting.
You may participate in studies either in-person, in our lab, or online on your home computer, depending on the study's requirements. All studies are approved by an ethical committee.

Privacy of participants is secured. All personal data collected in the research process is kept confidentially and is not presented in any publications.
Participants can withdraw from research at any time during data gathering with no adverse consequences.
Participants are treated with respect. Complaints can be directed to the Laboratory staff in case any violation has occurred.
